Rail-based modular system for the elevation of PV systems on flat roofs

The CompactFLAT SN is a flexible, rail-based, modular system that can be used for different flat roof applications and offers short-side and long-side clamping. The same components are used for the for the south-facing system CompactFLAT SN10 as for the east/west system CompactFLAT SN10plus.

Innovative mounting methods, such as the longitudinal screw channel, enable the fastest possible installation at the highest level of safety. They also save on additional screw parts. One person, while standing, can pre-assemble the system without modules, thus avoiding downtimes due to delivery bottlenecks, for example. The click clamps help installers mount the rails and modules quickly and eff ortlessly. The system can be planned and simulated conveniently and easily in a few steps using the free 3D online software AeroTOOL.

  • The integrated building protection mats minimize point loads, compensate for horizontal movements (caterpillar effects) and ensure that water can drain off something good. The optionally available "Premium Pads" offer additional protection for sensitive and soft insulation surfaces. There is no need for adhesive bonding because they can be attached to the mounting system with clips.

  • The optionally available anchor fixation impresses with its simple assembly and flexibility. It allows a large number of anchor positions and thus speeds up assembly. Due to the direct screw connection to the rails, high loads are not a problem.

  • The system offers several ballasting possibilities! Ballast stones can be easily and safely positioned by the angle rails. The ballast clamp is available with the ability to quickly and directly fix the ballast stones to the bottom rail.

  • No matter which frame and how many cells: The mounting solution is approved for all common module types. The universal clamps have infinitely variable height adjustment between 30 and 46 millimeters.

  • Continuous M8 screw channel for flexible mounting of components and accessories

  • Front foot with integrated stop for fast positioning of the modules

The types of clamping

Short-side clamping

The aerodynamic construction kit system COMPACTFLAT SN10 is the most flexible rail-based assembly system on the market. It uses the same components as the east/west system COMPACTFLAT SN10PLUS, harmonizes with the most diverse module types and roof coverings and has clamps on both the short and long sides.

Long-side clamping

With longitudinal clamping COMPACTFLAT SN10 withstands the highest snow and wind loads. The extensive tests in the wind tunnel with wind speeds of up to 250 kilometers per hour and the 25-year product warranty ensure maximum safety. Since the same components are used for both the long-side and short-side construction variants, storage requirements are optimized.

The Versions

On load-bearing roof coverings at locations with low to moderate snow loads, the framed modules can be clamped on the short-side, which not only is cost-effective but also saves material. The system can be installed with longitudinal screw channels, standard screws and low ballast. For roof coverings with lower load-bearing capacity, high wind and snow loads and large modules, clamping on the long side is a good option.

CompactFLAT S05/10/15

Bracket Based - North/South

The system is part of the CompactFLAT product family and an aerodynamic South base construction for attaching and aligning PV modules on flat roofs.

It is available in 5°, 10° and 15° tilts, and in different row spacings. 

The CompactFLAT S has a 25-year warranty, has been tested in the wind tunnel and is delivered with pre-mounted protective mats.

The cable management for string wiring of module series is available as an accessory to the base structure.

BRACKETBASED - East/West

Compact, tested base construction for double-sided elevated PV modules on flat roofs.

The system is part of the CompactFLAT product family and an aerodynamic EAST/WEST base construction for attaching and aligning PV modules on flat roofs. The system is available in 10° tilt and with different row spacing.

With just three main components, CompactFLAT S10+ offers an outstanding price-performance ratio. The simple installation and good transport density of the innovative system saves time and resources while offering an inexpensive system price.

The aerodynamic design offers outstanding structural properties and requires significantly less ballast than other systems on the market. 

Thanks to the unique “spring effect” of the stand, the base structure adapts optimally to surface conditions. Because the construction is not attached to fails, water drainage is ensured on all sides.

CompactFLAT S10+ is delivered pre-assembled, including newly developed protective mat with long-term durability testing.
