Member of the Board AEROCOMPACT Group Holding AG & Group CEO (Chief Executive Officer)
Dirk Morbitzer has been a member of the Executive Board of AEROCOMPACT Group Holding AG and CEO of AEROCOMPACT GROUP since August 2022 and is therefore responsible for the strategic development of the company. Morbitzer, who has lived in the USA for many years, has already been Managing Director of AEROCOMPACT North America since August 2021. He is a highly competent expert in the global solar industry with extensive experience in the management of dynamically growing, global technology companies.
Prior to joining AEROCOMPACT, Dirk Morbitzer worked as Director Strategic Sourcing at Sunrun in San Francisco, a publicly traded, market-leading residential solar financing and installation company. Further professional stations led him as Managing Director to Renewable Analytics, USA, to Trina Solar, Germany / China, as well as to S.A.G. Solar power, Germany. He started his career as an office manager of the city of Görlitz in the area of economic development. He then co-founded a company for energy-saving construction. Later, he also worked in management consulting, including at Accenture in the area of supply chain management for multinational companies. In addition to his role as CEO at AEROCOMPACT, he is a consultant for start-up companies in the renewable energy sector.
Dirk Morbitzer studied business administration at the University of Passau and the Open University of Hagen. In addition, he is a certified Purchasing Manager (ISM) and earned the Certificate in Energy Innovation and Emerging Technologies at Stanford University, USA.
Member of the Executive Board AEROCOMPACT Group Holding AG & Group CFO (Chief Financial Officer)
Gustavo Edinger is part of the company since March 2022. He is member of the board of AEROCOMPACT Group Holding AG and CFO of AEROCOMPACT GROUP. The Austrian manager with South American roots has extensive experience in Finance & Controlling, including expansion financing, M&A as well as the management of intercultural teams.
Prior to joining AEROCOMPACT, Gustavo Edinger served as CFO for the Vienna-based Kores Group, a global supplier of high-quality office and school products. In this function, he was responsible, among other things, for the turnaround of the Mexican subsidiary as well as Group-wide projects to increase profitability and cash flow. In the course of his career, Gustavo Edinger has held positions including Managing Director / CFO at Caverion Austria, Finance Director at Ametek and Senior Vice President Finance & Controlling EMEA at the Hoerbiger Group. He started his professional career in the controlling department of the Mayr-Melnhof Group in the packaging division. He is also the founder and managing director of SATAPA Management GmbH.
Gustavo Edinger studied business administration at the University of Tübingen and commerce at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration. He also completed management programs at the IESE Business School in Barcelona.
Managing Director AEROCOMPACT Europe GmbH & Group CSO (Chief Sales Officer)
Manfred Ganahl has been CSO of AEROCOMPACT GROUP since May 2020 and took over the management of AEROCOMPACT Europe GmbH in July 2021. He established the international sales structure for AEROCOMPACT and is now responsible for worldwide sales and marketing activities. With over 25 years of experience in sales and marketing, Manfred Ganahl is an internationally experienced sales expert with an outstandingly high level of technical and business knowledge and in-depth industry experience in the solar equipment, measuring tools, mechanical engineering and automotive sectors.
Before joining AEROCOMPACT, he worked for seven years as CSO and Managing Director for Sola Messwerkzeuge GmbH in Götzis. Furthermore, for many years he was responsible for organizations including Central and Eastern Europe, Asia, Oceania and the USA on behalf of major global companies such as Jungheinrich AG in Hamburg, Meusburger GmbH & Co KG in Wolfurt and also worked for them abroad for many years. Born in Vorarlberg, he started his career as a machine fitter and technical draftsman at Liebherr's Nenzing plant.
He graduated from the Höhere Technische Lehranstalt Bregenz with an engineering degree in manufacturing automation. Manfred Ganahl holds a Master of Science in Management & Organization from Danube University Krems and a Master of Business Administration in International Sales and Marketing from the Hohe Warte Study Center in Vienna. In addition, he completed the diploma course in business administration at the SMA in Vienna.
Group CTO (Chief Technology Officer)
Christian Ganahl has been CTO of AEROCOMPACT GROUP since 2019. He is responsible for research, product development, software development and product management of the AEROCOMPACT GROUP. He is a transformational leader, innovation driver and specialist in the area of differentiation strategy for international technology companies.
Previously, Christian Ganahl worked as Head of Sales & Design Management for Schindler Creations in Lochau and was responsible for consulting renowned companies such as Tetrapak, DMG Moori or Liebherr in the areas of design thinking, user experience, hardware and software design. He gained extensive management and international experience in over 18 years at Neutrik AG, Schaan, in product development, series production and most recently in the role of Director Product Management. He built up his aluminum and steel processing knowledge in his younger years as a product developer at Hydro Aluminium in Nenzing and at Stahlbau Gassner in Bürs.
Christian Ganahl is a mechanical engineer and holds a Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) in International Management from the University of Lichtenstein and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Gloucestershire.
Group COO (Chief Operations Officer)
Stefan Schaefer has been working as a consultant for the AEROCOMPACT GROUP since June 2020. In his function as external COO, he makes his proven expertise in logistics and operations available to AEROCOMPACT. Stefan Schaefer is the founder and CEO of expectus GmbH / expectus Inc. (USA), a company specializing in global logistics consulting. He has more than 30 years of experience in the transport and logistics industry as well as in foreign trade legislation (e.g., Export Control). Before expectus GmbH was founded in 2000, he held leading positions in well-known logistics companies in Germany and the USA. Due to his extensive international and entrepreneurial experience beyond his core competencies, he is also a member of the management of the AEROCOMPACT companies in the USA and India.
Before starting his operational activities, Stefan Schäfer had already been a member of the supervisory board of AEROCOMPACT Holding GmbH since it was founded.
Founder and Supervisory Board Chairman
Mathias Muther is founder of AEROCOMPACT GROUP and since August 2022 Chairman of the Supervisory Board of AEROCOMPACT Group Holding AG. Previously, he was Chairman of the Management Board of AREOCOMPACT Holding GmbH. By developing an innovative bracket system for fastening solar panels, he was able to reduce the amount of material required for photovoltaic mounting systems to one-third. With entrepreneurial foresight, Muther used his data and calculations as the basis for AeroTOOL, which was launched simultaneously with the innovative fastening components as a digital platform. Under the leadership of Mathias Muther, AEROCOMPACT has developed into a leading international company in the solar tech industry in just a few years.
Mathias Muther has more than 15 years of experience in the global solar business. Prior to AEROCOMPACT, he was co-founder and CEO of SST-Solar, Schlins, a specialist in manufacturing solar collectors for solar thermal and photovoltaic applications. Previously, he was Key Account Manager at Winkler-Solar in Feldkirch. In addition to his MBA studies at SHW in Vienna, Mathias Muther completed the Academic Business Manager at the University in Klagenfurt. His technical degree he completed in 2000 as a plumbing, climate and solar engineer. In 2018, AEROCOMPACT was named Born Global Champion by the Austrian Chamber of Commerce. Mathias Muther was elected to the Senate of Commerce as a Senator in the same year. He is currently setting up the charity project "Solar Power Aid", with the help of which the power supply in crisis regions hit by environmental catastrophes is to be restored as quickly as possible by means of photovoltaics and battery storage packages.
Vice chairman of the Supervisory Board
Ralph Poettinger acts next to his role as member of the supervisory board at the AEROCOMPACT Holding as aglobally active advisor, author and speaker on value-driving corporate development for strategicall growth and islecturer for corporate finance at the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
His formative years have inspired him to pursue an international career in the fields of financial and professional services in nine countries. In the past, Ralph has gathered experience at the Liechtenstein office of Hong-Kong-owned Bendura Bank and at the London office of Chicago-based investment bank William Blair & Company, as well as in one of Austria's leading boutique M&A law firms.
Supervisory board member
Udo Georges Oksakowski is member of the supervisory board of AEROCOMPACT Holding GmbH and an international serial entrepreneur as well as managing director and board member of several companies with many years of experience in corporate management and management consulting for companies in various industries like IT and FinTech. He has been with the AEROCOMPACT Group for several years and, in addition to his role as Chairman of the Supervisory Board, he advises the owner in the area of corporate structure and processes.
Nadja Adamovic has MSc in Electrical Engineering (1993), PhD in MicroSystem Technologies at the TU Wien (in 1996), is employed at TU Wien since 1994 as senior scientist and project manager, having more than 20 years’ experience in material development and advanced technologies (in particular for photovoltaics). She was the coordinator/participant in more than 20 EU- and national research projects. She is and external expert for European HORIZON 2020 Research Program.
Since 2008, Dr. Adamovic is an active member of the Austrian Photovoltaic Technology Platform. She is chairing the European Materials Modelling Council (EMMC), having the role to connect all existing material modelling activities and increase the industrial digitalization and exploitation of materials modelling in Europe.
Supervisory board member
Christian Fiel has joined the Supervisory Board of AEROCOMPACT HOLDING in 2021. After his academic education and in-service training as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Christian has been involved in corporate management and corporate finance for over 20 years. He started his professional career in a development company for semiconductors and worked for several years in the banking sector before moving to a leading European supplier of RFID and NFC technologies as CFO. Christian has now been back in the financing industry for ten years and has been a board member of a successful bank for several years.
