Job purpose

The Traveling Product Trainer plays a key role in Aerocompact's work with distributors and installers.This position aims to increase our existing and potential customers' product knowledge and installation efficiency. The Product Trainer will attend training and product demonstration events at distributor sites and train customer staff at installation sites. 

 

Duties and responsibilities

  • Train customer staff on the most efficient use of our products
  • Attend events at distribution centers to demonstrate our products
  • Visit installation sites to train customer staff on how to install our products best
  • Identify opportunities for project improvements and report to Inside Sales and Outside Sales
  • Identify opportunities for Outside Sales to follow up on
  • Build rapport with customer staff - sales and installation teams as well as local management –be our face to the customers
  • Identify product improvement opportunities and provide feedback to our product management team
  • Travel to and engage customers in person on a rotating basis
  • Track and document all customer / prospective customer interactions in our CRM system (Salesforce)
  • Proactively communicate and cooperate with the Aerocompact sales team and office staff
  • Be our expert in products and installation processes
  • Develop and constantly enhance the technical knowledge of our product lines to be an expert resource for our customer base
  • Provide feedback to the Product Management Team during the development process for new products 
  • Specify/recommend products to meet customer applications
  • Strive to find new solutions and share ideas with the product development team
  • Coordinate and plan events together with our Outside Sales and Marketing Team
  • Participate in trade shows and conferences
  • Direct reporting to VP, Business Development

 

Qualifications

  • Outgoing personality with interest in transferring product expertise
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High-Quality Orientation – Providing training to do it right.
  • Experience in product training – preferably in the solar industry and PV racking, is an asset; experience in the construction industry is a possibility
  • Willingness to travel 60%+ of the time
  • Eager to be a part of the renewable future
  • Good working knowledge of Office 365 software and CRM tools (Salesforce) 

 

Working conditions

This remote position will be based out of California and requires frequent travel to customer sites.The position does include international training opportunities at our headquarters in Austria. 

 

Physical requirements

The day-to-day job requires the installation of PV systems, including lifting and carrying equipment. Site visits will require the use of PPE and will involve climbing ladders or stair towers. 

Conference attendance will require air travel, frequent standing, and possibly long hours.

Job purpose

The Regional Sales Manager position is key in Aerocompact's corporate structure.

  • This position aims to increase overall company sales volume by developing new accounts in the Midwest region. The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for their identified geographical area's performance, focusing on creating demand for Aerocompact racking solutions.

 

Duties and responsibilities

  • Systematically identify and develop new business opportunities in the assigned region
  • Pursue and win projects/orders from potential customers 
  • Travel to and engage customers in person on a rotating basis
  • Develop strategic sales plans and implement them to reach corporate sales goals within the region
  • Independently track all projects and leads
  • Proactively communicate and cooperate with the Aerocompact sales team and office staff
  • Develop technical knowledge of product line to be a resource for the customer base
  • Specify/recommend products to meet customer applications
  • Become a subject matter expert for major product lines
  • Strive to find new solutions and share ideas with the product development team
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, product demonstrations, and customer training
  • Direct reporting to VP, Business Development

 

Qualifications

  • Competitive spirit and driven to succeed
  • Outside sales experience in the solar industry and PV racking, in particular, is an asset
  • Customer-friendly attitude and excellent communication skills
  • Can achieve and exceed sales goals
  • Post-secondary education is required. BA/BS preferred
  • Eager to be a part of the renewable future
  • Good working knowledge of Office 365 software and CRM tools (Salesforce) 

 

Working conditions

This remote position will be located in Texas and requires a home office and travel to meet with clients, visit sites, and attend industry conferences. Leads are self-generated and provided by the company.
