"In a Warming World, Storms May Be Fewer but Stronger" (NASA Earth Observatory)

Deadly winter storm “Friederike” swept over western Europe on January 18th, leaving behind damages estimated at one billion euros in Germany. It was the second most expensive storm to hit Germany in the last twenty years. Directly after the storm, we received a message from Stefan Kutscher, SK Solar, one of our customers who had installed projects in the storm-battered region:

“Since Friederika, I am even more impressed by Aerocompact. We suffered major damage to our PV systems, but all of the Aerocompact systems weathered the storm without damage.”

Are such strong storms the new “normal” for our weather? We hope not, but if that's the case: we're prepared!
