A 1.2 MW photovoltaic system was installed on the 35-meter-high roof of a newly constructed cold storage facility in Cebu, Philippines – now supplying valuable energy for its highly power-intensive cooling operations.
Local conditions including a 5° roof pitch, sensitive membrane roofing, and high wind loads required a particularly precise structural design. Our rail-based mounting system COMPACTFLAT SN 2 PLUS was used, which is optimally suited for building structures in high wind load zones in combination with challenging roof inclinations and soft roof constructions.
