Het bedrijf is in 2012 door Mathias Muther uit Röns (Vorarlberg/AT) opgericht. Gespecialiseerd in de productie van aerodynamische onderconstructies voor de PV industrie, volgde een snelle groei van het bedrijf. Het bedrijf richtte zich op de productie en verkoop van PV-onderconstructies voor platte daken zonder doorlopende rails. Montageoplossingen voor schuine daken, metalen daken en voor grondopstellingen completeren inmiddels het productportfolio.
Het statische ontwerp en de berekening voor wind- en sneeuwbelasting gebeurt in onze eigen 3D engineering software. In 2016 werd in het eerste bedrijfsgebouw in Satteins geïnvesteerd, waardoor het kantoor geografisch werd samengevoegd met de productie. In het kader van de toegenomen bedrijfsactiviteiten in de VS volgde de oprichting van de eerste vestiging in de VS. Singapore volgde later.
In datzelfde jaar werd ook de eerste spade in de grond gezet voor het nieuwe hoofdgebouw in Satteins waarvan voltooiing volgde in juni 2019. AEROCOMPACT® heeft momenteel meer dan 70 medewerkers in dienst.
Managing Director and Owner
Mathias Muther is CEO, founder and owner of AEROCOMPACT and has more than 15 years of experience in the global solar business. Prior to AEROCOMPACT, Mathias was co-founder and CEO of SST-Solar from 2008-2016 and key account manager at Winkler-Solar from 2005-2008. Mathias graduated as MBA at the SHW in Vienna and academic business manager at the university in Klagenfurt. His technical degree he completed in 2000 as a plumbing, climate and solar engineer.
AEROCOMPACT received the Born Global Champion award from the Austrian Chamber of Commerce in 2018 and Mathias was admitted to the Senate of Business in the same year as a senator.

Chairman of the supervisory board
Udo Georges Oksakowski is chairman of the supervisory board of AEROCOMPACT Holding GmbH and an international serial entrepreneur as well as managing director and board member of several companies with many years of experience in corporate management and management consulting for companies in various industries like IT and FinTech. He has been with the AEROCOMPACT Group for several years and, in addition to his role as Chairman of the Supervisory Board, he advises the owner in the area of corporate structure and processes.

Ralph Poettinger acts next to his role as member of the supervisory board at the AEROCOMPACT Holding as aglobally active advisor, author and speaker on value-driving corporate development for strategicall growth and islecturer for corporate finance at the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
His formative years have inspired him to pursue an international career in the fields of financial and professional services in nine countries. In the past, Ralph has gathered experience at the Liechtenstein office of Hong-Kong-owned Bendura Bank and at the London office of Chicago-based investment bank William Blair & Company, as well as in one of Austria's leading boutique M&A law firms.
Supervisory board member
Dr. Nadja Adamovic has MSc in Electrical Engineering (1993), PhD in MicroSystem Technologies at the TU Wien (in 1996), is employed at TU Wien since 1994 as senior scientist and project manager, having more than 20 years’ experience in material development and advanced technologies (in particular for photovoltaics). She was the coordinator/participant in more than 20 EU- and national research projects. She is and external expert for European HORIZON 2020 Research Program.
Since 2008, Dr. Adamovic is an active member of the Austrian Photovoltaic Technology Platform. She is chairing the European Materials Modelling Council (EMMC), having the role to connect all existing material modelling activities and increase the industrial digitalization and exploitation of materials modelling in Europe.
