Heavy snow loads, diverse system components, and increasing complexity in planning and inventory management: PV projects come with their own unique challenges. With the latest additions to our COMPACTFLAT and COMPACTGROUND GS portfolios, we’re making many things easier—while also opening up new possibilities.
MORE SNOW? MORE POSSIBILITIES!
In regions with heavy snowfall in particular, the demands on PV mounting systems are increasing. This makes it all the more important to have solutions that are easy to plan and can be relied upon even under higher snow loads.
This is exactly where our Alpine Support for COMPACTFLAT GS10 PLUS and GS15 comes into play.
It can now be planned in AEROTOOL and is automatically factored in for characteristic snow loads of 1.5 kN/m² or higher. The Alpine Support will be available starting in November 2026.
It can also be used with the corresponding COMPACTGROUND systems. For these systems, integration into the planning process is currently still done manually.

TWO SYSTEMS, SHARED COMPONENTS
Why stock different components when the same items can be used for multiple applications? With our standardized GS portfolio, we make exactly that possible.
The GS brackets in our COMPACTGROUND systems are identical to the corresponding COMPACTFLAT components. This reduces the number of different items, simplifies inventory management, and ensures more efficient logistics.
At the same time, we will be focusing our open-space portfolio on COMPACTGROUND GS10 PLUS and GS15 going forward. The previous G Ground aluminum system is being phased out. And there’s news on the planning front as well: COMPACTGROUND GS15 with ground anchors has been available for direct planning in AEROTOOL since June 2026.

A MODULAR SYSTEM. MANY POSSIBILITIES.
Whether it’s a flat roof or an open-air space, a standard project or one with higher snow loads: With our enhanced GS portfolio, we’re focusing on greater flexibility while reducing complexity.
Fewer different components. Simpler logistics. More planning options.
