The solution for thinner rafters: 7 mm HECO plate head screw

10 COMPACTPITCH

New in the range: the 7 mm HECO plate head screw made of A2 stainless steel. The new solution for secure PV roof hook fastenings for narrow rafters - with high corrosion resistance, reduced splitting behavior and standard-compliant design for long-term safety on the roof.

Until now, the situation was often difficult:

Classic blue galvanized screws can corrode over time. At the same time, many solutions require larger rafter widths or entail an increased risk of splitting.

The new 7 mm HECO plate head screw made of A2 stainless steel solves precisely these problems.

It combines high load-bearing capacity, low splitting behavior, maximum corrosion resistance and particularly easy processing. Thanks to the reduced edge distance, rafters of less than 60 mm can now also be securely fastened in accordance with standards - without pre-drilling. This is an enormous advantage, especially for renovations or demanding roof constructions.

Stainless steel also offers decisive advantages from a normative point of view: Fasteners in partially weathered areas must be able to withstand long-term loads. This is why we deliberately use A2 stainless steel instead of classic blue galvanized solutions - for maximum durability and long-term system reliability. The optimized point and thread geometry also ensures fast "biting", low screw-in torque and fast screwing-in behaviour with little effort.

The ADVANTAGES AT A GLANCE

  • A2 stainless steel instead of blue galvanized - for maximum corrosion resistance and long-term system reliability
  • Safe even with rafters less than 60 mm (minimum edge distance 17.5 mm) - ideal for COMPACTPITCHXT-R 2.0 and XM-F
  • Same load-bearing capacity as 8 mm screws with reduced splitting behavior
  • Can be screwed in quickly with little effort and without pre-drilling
  • Compatible with all PV roof hooks and specially developed for modern PV applications

In the PV sector in particular, it is not just quick installation that counts, but above all long-term safety. With the new 7 mm HECO pan head screw, we have therefore deliberately opted for a solution that has been specially developed for decades of use on roofs - with maximum corrosion resistance, high system security and significantly more flexibility in demanding roof situations.

The optimized point and thread geometry ensures fast "biting", low screw-in torque and particularly convenient processing on the construction site. At the same time, A2 stainless steel offers maximum corrosion resistance - developed for decades of use on roofs. With the new 7 mm HECO pan head screw, we are expanding our range with a solution that optimally combines technical requirements, standard safety and practical installation.
